Toilet training should not be rushed. It is important that your child be physically and psychologically ready. When you feel that your child is exhibiting signs of being ready to start (i.e. taking off diaper, telling you they're wet or soiled, asking to sit on toilet, etc.), I will be happy to work with you to complete the process.
Although some toddlers may be ready at a very early age, most will be between 2 and 3 1/2 yrs old when they start. I recommend waiting until girls are at least 2-2 1/2 years old and boys are at least 2 1/2 -3 years. But it's ok if your child is not interested at all at age 3. They might just need a little nudging or convincing.
Please provide several pairs of underwear, shorts/pants, socks and disposable diapers (to be used during naps) during the training. I do not recommend using any Pull-ups style training pants. These feel too much like diapers and will only confuse your child and slow the process.
